Lots of changes around – will post more about some of these soon…

One of the changes is tonight I formatted my hard drive and installed Ubuntu.  I’ve been running it along side Windows for the last month or so – and finally took the plunge.  I rarely play games any more and that was the one reason I kept using Windows.  My plan now is to run Ubuntu and install VMWare on it so I can run Windows if I need to…  so far everything I need I have – Firefox, (all my mail is web based), OpenOffice, etc.   Today I saw that Adobe is working on bringing Flash 9 to Linux which is positive!  I’ve also installed Automatix (Google it) which installs all the tidbits that make life easier – video codecs, fonts, etc.
