Don't worry guys, if they do things like they did it with Flex2 we wont have to wait too long to compile our Apollo code either, and the result of the linux flashplayer debugger & all makes me think it's worth being patient

Moreover, when combined with "We are currently targeting the second half of 2007 for the release of Apollo 1.0", it suggests Apollo-for-Linux won't be until 2008, which sucks mightily.

I believe the original intention was to release for all three OS's but I think development has taken longer than they'd hoped so have gone for numbers out of the gate. I don't think it's unreasonable and it's good that they're targetting Linux at all unlike many other products that dont.

Although full-blown linux from the start would have indeed been very desirable.

I have a VM setup with Ubuntu and am slowly porting myself over to it. I was a bit disappointed there wasn't a linux option as well..
