How To Ask Smart Questions

I was digging around trying to figure out how to join our local TriLUG (Triangle Linux Users Group) and stumbled upon Eric Raymond’sHow To Ask Questions The Smart Way“.

I remember reading this a long time ago and it great to see he’s still updating it… It’s worth a read if you have never read it before. While it’s catered towards asking for help via email or on a newsgroup (remember those?) it’s really a great guide to thinking through a problem.

I know I’m always guilty of not RTFM!

As co-author of “Eric Raymond’s” essay, I’m always delighted when people find it useful. Thanks.
