I ran into some feisty to gutsy upgrade issues (http://www.peterryan.net/2007/10/30/feisty-to-gutsy-upgrade-duo-cpu-detection-for-d620/) with setting an invalid kernel and the upgrade crashed. Otherwise everything else seems fine although I haven't tried any of the new desktop effects. This upgrade was through kubuntu's package manager (kde) which never even gave me the upgrade version icon when I went from edgy to feisty.
