How Many Clicks To ColdFusion? Adobe.com

Clicks to ColdFusion Adobe rolled out a new website today. It’s OK. Too heavy on the Flash but that’s just my opinion.

What is disheartening to see though is ColdFusion is not on the homepage. Nor is it on the next page after clicking the “See all products” link. You then have to select ColdFusion from a dropdown list and click Go.

It does show up in the main menu’s drop down but some home page real estate would have been much nicer.

  2. For God’s sake Adobe. What the hell does “See All Products” mean to you?

You beat me to it…that was exactly the first thing I said when I saw the new site. Why can’t CF get some homepage lovin’? You’ve got freaking LiveCycle Enterprise Suite on there, but you can’t feature ColdFusion?

Adobe says that they’re supporting CF, but they certainly don’t show it with their words.

  3. Wow, yeah, even the products that *are* shown on the home are off the bottom of the page (small monitor) under a giant Flash movie which has a load time 3x the play time …

What a waste. And I agree that it’s disheartening to see CF only under the Products menu (on mouse over), and nowhere else :(

  4. Don’t feel that bad, they lot of Flex too. I mean, who leaves off one of their hottest products.

I agree with Andy, that All Products should show ALL PRODUCTS!

And what’s up with the 750px inside pages. It’s freaking 2007 already. We all have giant monitors. Lets get some 1024 designs out there already! They have that for the home page but the inner pages make me cringe!

  5. Well, someone in Adobe is listening to the CF clamor. Coldfusion is now on the home page 4th link on the left side…
