I *just* finished reading a review of this show in the NYT (http://www.nytimes.com/2007/12/10/arts/music/11zeppelin.html). I’d kill to add a live recording to my Zeppelin collection.

Yeah - I read that too. They HAD to have recorded it… Someone would be crazy not too. The question is will they release it :)

I can only hope that any decision *not* to release doesn’t have anything to do with Plant’s inability to reach that one high note in “Stairway to Heaven” that got mentioned. In my mind, the best thing about live music is the deviations - even (and sometimes especially) the errors - from the studio version.

LOL. I read that and wanted to slap the author upside the head. He’s 60!! We’re lucky he can still sing.

    Rolling Stone: http://www.rollingstone.com/ne.....vid_fricke

As the words “Led Zeppelin” filled the back screen, before the band left the stage for good, Bonham dropped to his knees and bowed, as if to say “I’m not worthy,”

I would have to imagine he was remembering his father??

    Very brief video footage:

It gives me chills to imagine the energy that must’ve carried through that show. Crazy. Another guy in the office told me there were over a million ticket requests, but only 14,000 tickets available.

@Rob - totally agree. I got chills watching the crappy phone videos. I did find a news site and they had a video clip that was obviously done professionally (crowd panning, zoom in on stage, etc) so I know they recorded the show so hopefully we’ll see a DVD at some point…
