Have just started using Royal TS – fantastic replacement for the clunky Remote Desktops MMC console.

Had to comment on this though:

“more enlightened clients are using VNC”

Why? RDP is faster, more secure and is already installed/available in most Windows versions. I do also use VNC, but only to access hosts that I can’t use RDP on!

Just wondering why anyone that has the option to use RDP would use VNC instead, other than personal preference.

there is also the real Remote Desktop Manager:

It’s free and the passwords are stored in the Windows Crendential Manager. RealVNC is also supported.

Cliff – I do like VNC – but I don’t have control over some of these servers to install it…

I found RD Tabs very effective for my TS Sessions.
