DATA
Just got an email from Fusion Authority - pointing me to a PDF version of the latest Fusion Authority!
This issue focuses on DATA! Not the old Star Trek android but the important bits and bytes sort of data you deal with every day as developer.
I won’t spoil the surprise of who’s in it - but I will say Mike Henke has a great article about tuning Eclipse for better performance. I see a lot of folks complaining on Twitter and the CFEclipse mailing list about Eclipse performance so hopefully Mike’s article will help speed up and stabilize your Eclipse installation.
Flex Authority will also be making an appearance at MAX and I’m sure it will offer the same high quality content as FAQU so if you are a Flex developer - sign up!

As I previously mentioned I’ve been busy lately - both at work and lately with our local ColdFusion User Group.
Recently Dan Wilson asked me to join him as co-manager of the Triangle Area ColdFusion user group (TACFUG). I’ve been busy revamping our site which was overdue for a facelift. I rolled out the new site using Matt Woodward’s CHUG application. Still tweaking things but overall the feedback has been positive. Still need to reskin the blog!
Dan also recently held an online discussion to gather ideas and feedback on promoting local ColdFusion user groups. We had a nice turnout and got some really good feedback which Dan has collected, condensed and now has available on his site for download.
If you are in the Raleigh/Durham Triangle are please consider coming out to an upcoming TACFUG event or CFLunch!
